Kinkaku-ji

Kinkaku-ji, officially Rokuon-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto celebrated for its gold-leaf-covered pavilion beside a reflective pond. The visit combines iconic architecture, landscaped gardens, Buddhist history and access to northern Kyoto's temple district.
