Terms of Service

1. These terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Travim website at www.travimapp.com and the Travim app for Android and iOS (together, "Travim"). They are an agreement between you and the operator of Travim ("we", "us", "our"). If you list a business, the Travim Business Agreement applies in addition to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not use Travim.

2. What Travim is, and what it is not

Travim is a travel planning tool. It uses artificial intelligence to turn a description of the trip you want into suggested plans, routes, timings, indicative costs and places to consider, and it keeps that plan organised while you travel.

Travim is not a travel agency, tour operator, package organiser, ticket seller, carrier, accommodation provider, insurer or booking agent. We do not sell, issue, resell or arrange flights, tickets, tours, transport, accommodation or any other travel service. We do not act as your agent towards any provider, and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with one. Nothing Travim shows you is an offer, a reservation, a confirmation, or a guarantee of price or availability.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 to use Travim, or older where your country requires it. Travim can be used without an account; signing in with Google or Apple creates one. In rare cases — for example a denial-of-service attack or other abuse aimed at exhausting our AI capacity — we may temporarily require sign-in before the app will generate new plans, so we can apply limits per account instead of restricting the feature for everyone. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate details, and do not let anyone else use your account — activity under it is treated as yours. We operate one account per email address and may merge duplicates that resolve to the same address.

4. Plans, suggestions and AI output

Every plan, description, price, duration, route, opening time, guide and answer Travim produces is generated automatically and is offered for information only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for your circumstances. Before you rely on anything that affects your money, your safety, your rights or your ability to travel, confirm it with the provider or the responsible authority. Our Disclaimer sets out these limits in full and forms part of these terms.

5. Travel services, tickets and flights

When you decide to go ahead with something Travim suggested, you contract directly with the airline, hotel, operator, carrier or business concerned, at their price and on their terms. Payment, confirmation, changes, cancellation, delay, denied boarding, downgrade, lost baggage, refunds and compensation are matters between you and that provider. Travim holds no money for travel services, issues no tickets, and cannot book, change, cancel, refund or enforce anything on a provider's behalf.

Where Travim links or hands you over to a provider, that is a convenience and not a recommendation, and it does not make us a party to what follows. Statutory protections such as air passenger rights and package travel rules run against the carrier, provider or organiser — not against Travim.

6. Prices, offers and promotion codes

Prices and costs shown in Travim are estimates for planning, not quotations, and they change without notice. Offers, campaigns and promotion codes published by a business are that business's own commercial offer to you. Travim passes them on as a technical channel; we do not fund, honour, guarantee or take part in them, and any dispute about one is between you and that business.

7. Paid features

Some features are paid and are sold as in-app purchases through Google Play or the Apple App Store. That store takes the payment under its own terms and refund policy; we never see or process your card details. Subscriptions renew according to the store's rules until you cancel them in the store. Where consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, that right applies regardless of this section.

8. Businesses on Travim

Listings, profiles, photographs, offers and posts published by businesses come from those businesses. We do not operate, inspect, certify, license, insure or endorse any business listed on Travim, and appearing in the directory, in a suggested plan or in a promoted placement is not a recommendation or a statement that the business is safe, lawful, licensed or suitable. Business enrollment requires identity verification, every business submission is reviewed by us before it is published, and both are governed by the Travim Business Agreement. Review is a check against our rules and the law — it is not a warranty that a business, an offer or a product is safe, lawful, licensed or as described.

9. Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you upload — trip descriptions, photographs, posts, reviews and business details. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, translate, display and distribute that content to the extent needed to operate, secure and promote Travim, for as long as you keep it on the service and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups.

You confirm that you hold the rights to the content, that it is accurate and lawful, and that it infringes nobody's intellectual property or privacy. We may remove or restrict content at any time, without notice, where we consider it unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful or in breach of these terms.

10. Moderation and reporting content

Business submissions — profiles, photographs, posts, products, services, offers, campaigns and adverts — are reviewed by us before they are published and may be reviewed again afterwards. We may reject, remove, restrict or suspend content or an account where we consider it unlawful, misleading, unsafe, infringing or in breach of these terms, and we give the business the reason.

If you believe something on Travim is unlawful or breaks these terms — including content that infringes your intellectual property, misuses your identity, or misrepresents a business — report it to legal@travimapp.com with a link and a short explanation of the problem. We consider every report, act where action is warranted, and tell you the outcome. If we act against something you published, we tell you why, and you may ask us to look again by replying to that notice.

11. Acceptable use

Do not use Travim to break the law; to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexual or violent; to impersonate anyone; to scrape, bulk-extract or automate access; to resell or redistribute Travim's output as a competing service; to train a competing model or build a dataset from it; to reverse engineer the service or circumvent security, rate limits or paid tiers; or to probe, overload or attack the infrastructure. We may rate-limit, suspend or block access to protect the service.

12. Advertising

Free use of Travim is supported by advertising, served through Google AdMob and through placements sold to businesses. Adverts and promoted placements are marked as advertising, are not endorsements, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.

13. Third-party services

Travim depends on third parties, including Cloudflare for delivery and protection, third-party AI providers for generated content, and Google and Apple for sign-in, notifications, maps, advertising and payments. Their own terms and privacy notices govern their services. We are not responsible for third-party content, websites or services reached through Travim.

14. Intellectual property

The Travim name, logo, software, design, interface and original text belong to us and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Travim for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning; business use is governed by the Business Agreement. Photographs on this website are public-domain works used under CC0. Other names and marks belong to their owners.

15. Availability and changes to the service

Travim is provided as it stands from time to time. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and some features are experimental or offered as previews. We do not guarantee that Travim will be uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available, or that plans and content will be kept indefinitely. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Travim at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the Privacy notice. We may suspend or end access, remove content or close an account, with or without notice, for breach of these terms, suspected fraud or unlawful use, risk to other users or the service, or where the law requires it. Provisions that by their nature should continue — the content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law — survive the end of this agreement.

17. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travim is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, safety, legality or availability of travel information, generated plans, directory listings, businesses, offers or third-party services.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, nor for lost profits, lost data, lost or missed bookings, missed flights or connections, cancelled, curtailed or disrupted travel, wasted expenditure, refused entry or visa refusal, or any loss arising from your reliance on generated information or from any dealing between you and a provider, business, advertiser or other user.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Travim in that period and EUR 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your breach of these terms or of the law, or your dealings with providers, businesses, advertisers or other users — except to the extent the claim is caused by us.

20. Your rights as a consumer

If you use Travim as a consumer, nothing in these terms removes or reduces mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Where a term conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail and the rest of these terms continues to apply.

21. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction — except that a consumer may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where the law gives that right. Please write to legal@travimapp.com first: nearly everything is settled faster that way than in a court.

22. Changes to these terms

We update these terms as Travim changes. The version on this page is the one that applies. We announce material changes here before they take effect, and continuing to use Travim afterwards means you accept them.
